Work
Many students use employment as a way to earn income to help pay for personal expenses. Work can not only provide a source of funding but can also be a great way to develop skills and gain experience which will serve you well as you begin your career after graduation.
Federal Work Study
If you indicate on your FAFSA that you are interested in work, and are awarded Federal Work Study as part of your award package, you will be given instructions on how to obtain a work study job assignment. You may review job opportunities on the website for Work Study Jobs beginning in early August each year.
These wages are paid directly to you, not to the University Cashier, and therefore cannot be used as a means of deferring your bill to the University.
Student Part-time Employment Opportunities
The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid maintains a listing of part-time job opportunities, both on-campus and off-campus, available for students.
The University Career Center also provides information about how to find student jobs.
