Troubleshooting Tips for QuickPAY ®

1. Be sure that you are at the correct login page. Students and authorized users do not login from the same page. Students must login at
http://mypack.ncsu.edu, while authorized users should follow this link https://quikpayasp.com/ncstate/qp/login/authorized.do to login.

2. QuikPAY ® is designed to work with Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher (with 128-bit encryption). If you are using an older browser, you may need to upgrade in order to utilize QuikPAY ® . You can upgrade your browser by clicking on this link Internet Explorer 6.0. Once here follow the instructions to download Internet Explorer 6.0.

3. If you are using a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection, you must disable this connection before logging into QuikPAY ®.

4. Session cookies must be enabled. QuikPAY ® uses session cookies to maintain security during your session. If you have cookies disabled, or are not sure what your cookie status is, you can find instructions at http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/cashier/billing/cookies.asp.

5. If your ISP (Internet Service Provider) is AOL, you may need to open an additional browser session for QuikPAY ® (this is because AOL's modified browser may not work correctly with some secure sites such as QuikPAY ® ). To do this, access the internet as your normally would. Once you are connected to the internet, double click the Internet Explorer icon to open it. Use this newly opened browser to access the QuikPAY ® website.

6. Your userID is your Unity ID. Be sure that you are using only your Unity ID and not your entire email address. This means that you should not include "@ncsu.edu" in the userID box. If you need to reset your password visit https://www.cgibin.ncsu.edu/systems/password.html.

7. If none of the above tips help you can call the Student Accounts Office at (919) 515-2986 M-F 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or e-mail at studentaccounts@ncsu.edu. If you choose to call the Student Accounts make sure you have the following information ready:

  • operating system
  • browser version
  • internet service provider
  • the exact error that you are receiving

The more information you can provide, the better the chances that the student account representative will be able to assist you.
