Audits and Special Rates
- Undergraduates who are charged at the undergraduate rates; the fee to "audit" a course is the same as if the course is taken for credit
- Graduate students: when registering and paying for other course work (Distance Education courses do not qualify for other course work), one audit course is free. When registered for more than one audit course or for an audit course only, the rates are the same as for credit.
- North Carolina residents ages 65 or older are allowed to register as Lifelong Education students on a space available basis for courses in this schedule without payment of tuition; however, they are responsible for applicable course fees.
- Cooperative Education Program Fee: $338.00. Students enrolled for both co-op and other course work must pay the rates applicable to both type registrations.
- Full-time faculty/staff course: Completed waiver must be received in the Cashier's Office no later than 5:00 pm on August 30, 2005. Only two waivers allowed per academic year.
Notes
- Students that have registered during the Registration Period will receive an email notification to the email account listed on the Pack Tracks system stating that their eBILL is available online to view and print. It is your responsibility, whether you receive a statement or not, to make full payment and clear all "holds" or complete financial assistance information by July 26, 2005 at 5:00pm deadline or your schedule may be cancelled.
- If you are a sponsored student and your tuition or fees will be paid by an independent third party or university department, please submit the Notice of Sponsorship by the due date. Incomplete forms cannot be processed and writing on the remittance slip will not secure your registration.
- All students paying tuition and fees are entitled to University services, facilities and programs. Students are entitled to the services, facilities, and programs offered by the Student Center, Health Services, Physical Education Department, and Athletics Department. An itemization of required fees can be provided upon request. Required fees must be paid by all students.
- Upon adding course work that results in an increased rate, students will be billed during the next Cashier's Office billing cycle. Refunds resulting from courses dropped will be mailed to the student's university correspondence address after census date.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Except in the case of withdrawal, the tuition and fees charge is based on your classification, residency and the official
number of hours and courses carried at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 30, 2005.
Dropping all courses for which you are registered constitutes withdrawing from the university. Refunds resulting from a withdrawal will be mailed to
the students' university correspondence address.
- Returned Checks: A returned check fee of $25 will be assessed for dishonored checks. The University has the right to cancel the registration of any student whose tuition and fees are paid with a "Returned" check.
- Late Registration Fee - The late registration fee is $100.00. Late registration starts July 18, 2005 and ends August 30, 2005 at 5:00 pm. The "late late" registration fee is $150.00 after August 30, 2005.
College of Engineering Computer Fee
- Students enrolled in the College of Engineering will be charged a College of Engineering Computer Fee. Undergraduates will be charged $45 (12 or more hours), $34 (9-11 hours), $23 (6-8 hours), and $12 (0-5 hours). Graduate students will be charged $45 regardless of hours carried. (These rates are likely to chage.)
Professional Golf Management Fee
- Students enrolled in the Professional Golf Management program (PGM) will be charged $200/semester. The fee pays for golf play and practice privileges at several area golf courses.

August 30, 2005 for the 2005 Fall Semester
