The online CAMS system
The CAMS Departmental System (CDS) is the online CAMS system which
allows campus departments to view their CAMS assets. The online
CAMS system "Browse Records" view is available all year
to track and update your assets. Your department should keep you
informed of changes so you can update your assets in the database
as the changes occur.
Example - An asset is moved to a different building in July. The
CAMS coordinator should update the building and room number in July
using the online system.
During annual inventory in January, this asset will already be in
the correct location, allowing it to be easily found and verified.
