Site Visits

Each year, CAMS selects a sample of departments and performs an on-site physical verification of the selected department's assets. CAMS chooses the department and then contacts the CAMS coordinator with more information on the process and schedule.

Site visits aid both CAMS and the selected department by:

  • Verifying the existence and location of assets on the department's inventory listing

  • Identifying and resolving departmental inventory problems

  • Giving suggestions on how to improve the department's inventory process
