" A Computer Security Day" Event - Sponsored by the Office of Information Technology

Computer Security Day a successful event!

NC State held its Third Annual Computer Security Day on November 30th at the Jane S. McKimmon Center. Sponsored by the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and Sun Microsystems Inc., Computer Security Day is intended to help raise awareness of computer-related security issues. This year’s theme was “Computer Crime Scene Investigation - Whodunit? Howdunit? Whydunit?”

This event highlighted IBM Internet Security Systems executive Linda Jones and national computer forensic expert Giovanni Masucci as the keynote speakers. It also featured two tracks of presentations that focused on the forensics of mobile security and web application security for the general and technical user.
