Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a newly formed team in OIT - Security & Compliance which combines the previous ITD Unity Account Management and ETSS Application Security roles and functions. In addition, it is responsible for coordinating efforts to optimize NC State’s OIT authentication and authorization environments, as well as work with the NC State Data Stewards to define and protect the identities of all campus members – students, employees and affiliates. IAM efforts will focus on two main areas – Identity Management (the management of an individual's identity data), and Access Management (user access to NC State applications). As the new OIT web sites are developed, additional information will be made available here. In the meantime, services that continue to be supported by IAM are listed below, and questions concerning these services can be directed to:

NOTICE:
The Online Information Security Acknowledgement Form (ISAF) is now available to be signed through the MyPack Portal. All new employees have been required to sign an ISAF (paper document) at New Employee Orientation, and it has also been a requirement for submitting an ASAP Request. As of September 30, 2008 the paper document will no longer be required. MyPack Portal will check whether an employee has signed the ISAF when they log in. If there is no record of them having signed a form, an ISAF will be presented for them to sign electronically. Once signed online, it will no longer appear when logging in. |
