BOT/BOG Deadlines

PERSONNEL EMPLOYMENT RECOMMENDATION DEADLINES FOR 'ON-TIME' REPORTING TO THE ACADEMIC AFFAIRS PERSONNEL COMMITTEE (AAPC), BOARD OF TRUSTEES (BOT) AND THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG)

Please use form HR-017 as the cover sheet for all AAPC (BOT) and BOG submissions.

In order to be considered by: Recommendations must be submitted to Human Resources Information Management (HRIM) by 5 p.m. on: Recommendations that require approval of the AAPC (BOT) only Recommendations that require approval of the AAPC (BOT) and the BOG
the AAPC (BOT) at their meeting on:
November 20-21, 2008
and
the BOG at their meeting on:
January 9, 2009		 Tuesday, October 14, 2008 Actions with effective dates of 11/20/2008 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 11/20/2008 is a late recommendation Actions with effective dates of 01/09/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 01/09/2009 will not be accepted by the BOG

February 19-20, 2009
and
the BOG at their meeting on:
March 20, 2009		 Friday, January 9, 2009 Actions with effective dates of 02/19/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 02/19/2009 is a late recommendation Actions with effective dates of 03/20/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 03/20/2009 will not be accepted by the BOG

April 16-17, 2009
and
the BOG at their meeting on:
May 8, 2009		 Friday, March 6, 2009 Actions with effective dates of 04/16/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 04/16/2009 is a late recommendation Actions with effective dates of 05/08/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 05/08/2009 will not be accepted by the BOG

September 10-11, 2009
and
the BOG at their meeting on:
October 9, 2009		 Friday, July 31, 2009 Actions with effective dates of 09/10/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 09/10/2009 is a late recommendation Actions with effective dates of 10/09/2009 or AFTER should be included; any action with an effective date PRIOR to 10/09/2009 will not be accepted by the BOG

Notes:

  • Any action that requires approval of the BOG must first be approved by the AAPC (BOT)
  • See Deregulation in Approval Processes for EPA Employment Recommendations for a listing of recommendations that require BOT/BOG approval(s).
  • A detailed justification must be provided by a dean or vice chancellor for any action that is submitted late.
  • The Board of Governors will not accept a recommendation with an effective date prior to their meeting date.
