Floating Holiday
At its discretion, the University may choose to designate one or more of the authorized total holidays in a year as a "floating holiday," rather than as a specified day. In a year with a floating holiday, leave-eligible employees may take the day at a time that is mutually satisfactory to both the individual and their supervisor.
Employees must take their floating holiday all at once; they may not spread the hours out over several days. Any floating holiday in a year must be taken by December 31.
