Things To Watch For
- Birth certificate issued by a hospital.
- Social Security Cards that state "Not Valid for Employment" or "Valid for Work Only with INS Authorization"
- When filling out Section 2, be sure the start date in the certification paragraph is filled in.
- When filling out Section 2, List A, B, and C information is recorded in the correct lines that correspond to the left of List A.
- Do not highlight or make notes on the original I-9 form.
