For over 75 years, University Graphics has provided NC State University and various state agencies with a wide variety of offset printing and binding services. Unfortunately, the combination of the campus budget crisis, spending restrictions, and the national economic downturn resulted in sharply declining financial resources.
Therefore, on August 31, 2009, University Graphics will cease offset press operations and specific binding options.
Please be assured that all orders currently in process for the offset presses will be completed. Future orders will be addressed on a case by case basis, and further directives will be forthcoming. University Graphics wishes to thank all of their customers and has greatly appreciated the peer relationships formed over many years on campus and within state government.
In an effort to provide a continuation of services to campus, the NCSU Copy Center will remain operational , and looks forward to assisting all of its customers with high quality color copying, in-line booklet-making, thesis printing and binding, and high volume black and white scanning, copying and booklet-making. The Copy Center will continue to work with each department to meet budgetary needs in this difficult financial climate. WolfCopy, which provides departmental copier services, is not affected by this announcement.
Creative Services in University Communications (formerly Public Affairs) and CALS Communication Services continue to provide assistance in developing strategic communications and marketing publications. For printing and binding needs, please contact Purchasing or, if the expenditure is below five thousand dollars, you may obtain three quotes from outside vendors and make your selection.
