WolfPrint - Request a Printer

If you are a support person for a computer lab on campus, and you would like a WolfPrint printer be installed in your lab, please make sure that the following conditions are true:

  • In order to set up Windows lab machines, to print to WolfPrint HP printers, the lab machines must be running Wolfprep.

  • In order to set up Solaris/Linux lab machines, the lab machines much be running a Realm Kit environment, or a the very minimum, Kerberized LPRng.

  • In order to set up a Macintosh to use an accounted printer, you must be running WolfCopy printing for 10.3.

5) Do you have an available 120 volt wall outlet for the printer?

6) Do you have an available network drop for the printer?

7) If you intend to use the WolfPrint printer(s) with Unix workstations, are the workstations in the lab running a Realm Kit environment, or at the very minimum, Kerberized LPRng?
Please Note: The above condition must be true for Unix workstations to be used in conjunction with WolfPrint.

8) If you intend to use the WolfPrint printer(s) with Windows workstations, are the workstations in the lab running WolfPrep?
Please Note: The above condition must be true for Windows workstations to be used in conjunction with WolfPrint.

9) If so, what version of WolfPrep are you running?

10) If you intend to use the WolfPrint printer(s) with Macintosh workstations, are the workstations in the lab running WolfCopy Printing for 10.3?
