on the upper level, the Computer Connections department offers
a wide variety of hardware, software
and peripherals. Most items
are available at educationally discounted prices. All that
is required to shop with us is a current faculty, staff or
student photo ID.

NC State’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) has created the new Technology & Media Services Support Center in the West Dunn Building.
In-warranty hardware Support is available for Lenovo and Apple computers purchased at NC State Bookstores. For on-campus support call: (919) 515-3400 during regular business hours.
After August 11, 2008, on campus hardware support will be available at the Technology and Media Services Support Center in the West Dunn Building located at the corner of Dan Allen Drive and Thurman Drive. The Center will be open Monday - Thursday, 8am - 8pm and Friday, 8am - 5pm. Call 515-HELP to obtain help.
Manufacturer support is also available for Apple computers at www.apple.com/support or 1-800-APL-CARE and for Lenovo computers at 1-800-IBM-SERV.

NC State Bookstores has joined with the College of Engineering to offer
select configurations for the CoE Laptop Program. All students,
faculty and staff of the University may take advantage of this
select program and can choose the computer that best fits their
needs.

Returns
are processed through Customer Service on the upper level
of the main bookstore.
LAPTOP AND DESKTOP COMPUTERS:
Laptop and desktop computers are not returnable. Since we
only sell custom configured computer systems, we cannot accept
returns for any reason other than defective merchandise.
Defective or DOA (dead on arrival) equipment will be exchanged
or refunded only if:
A)
It is within the first 30 days of purchase.
B) It is returned in its original purchased condition with all
original packaging.
C) The original sales receipt accompanies it.

Equipment warranties are provided through equipment
manufacturers. If you are experiencing problems with a
computer purchased from NCSU Bookstores, please contact the
manufacturer for service using the 800 number provided at time
of purchase.
HARDWARE DEVICES:
Opened hardware devices are not returnable. We cannot accept
returns for any reason other than defective merchandise.
Defective products will be exchanged only if it is within 30
days of purchase date and the original sales receipt
accompanies it.
COMPUTER SOFTWARE, PERIPHERALS & SUPPLIES:
Software, computer peripherals and supplies
may be returned within 30 days of purchase date provided that
it is returned in its original condition, in unopened,
undamaged packaging.
CALCULATORS:
Calculators are not returnable unless
defective. All sales are final. Defective calculators may be
exchanged within 30 days from purchase with the original
receipt. Please make sure that you are purchasing the correct
item for your needs.
