We are now taking orders for Microsoft Office and MS Windows Vista Upgrade software under the Microsoft Student Select License Agreement. Under this agreement, NCSU students are eligible to purchase the below software at tremendous savings off the normal retail price. Note: These licenses and pricing are available for students, faculty and staff only. Student status must be verified by a valid student ID.

Students must fill out and sign the License Agreement. Usage restrictions are detailed in the agreement. Customers will receive media only, no written license is provided by Microsoft. The Bookstores will maintain a database of licensee's to verify license status if necessary. These licenses are not upgradeable or transferable and they do not expire.

Textbooks can be ordered on-line and either held at the bookstore for pick up or shipped to your door via UPS.  In most cases, orders will be filled within 24 hours. Ordering is always quick and easy.  Once an order is placed, your textbooks are pulled from the textbook sales floor at NCSU Bookstores, packaged and held for pickup. The store will hold completed textbook orders for up to 8 weeks, so no special trips are needed to pick up the books. Ordering early is the best way to be assured a greater selection of used textbooks since on-line orders are pulled immediately upon receipt.

If you have never ordered anything on-line before, rest assured, our on-line ordering system is both secure and easy to use. Refunds and exchanges can be made either at the bookstore in person or by mail if you live far from the University. Internet orders have the same buyback/return policy as in-store purchases. DELTA videos and textbooks are available at the Video Desk in the lower level of the bookstore. You will need a set of DVD/videos for each course in which you are registered (a $50.00 refundable deposit is required for each set) The adopted textbooks required for each course may be purchased at the same time.

Videotapes can be shipped directly to a student's home or office for an additional fee. If you would prefer to have your videos shipped, please complete this on-line form. If you prefer to print a hard copy and fax it to us, you can print the loan agreement here. Please remember that UPS will not ship to PO Boxes.

Textbooks purchased by Distance Education students follow the same policies for refund/buyback as students on campus.

Course materials for Engineering Online courses can now be ordered on-line. NCSU Bookstores is the official place to purchase textbooks and course packs for all NC State University courses including Distance Education courses. We conveniently stock all textbooks for every course offered by NC State University. In most cases, textbooks are available within 24 hours. When you order your textbooks from NCSU Bookstores, you will not have to wait four or five weeks for your book to arrive. Our textbook buyers order sufficient quantities of textbooks well in advance so that specialty Engineering and out-of-print textbooks will be available for the start of the semester.

NCSU Bookstores ships all textbook orders via UPS Ground Service. Students living in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia will receive their on-line order the next business day.
