Class Rings

Class Rings

Class rings are a strong tradition at NC State. NCSU Bookstores offers all of the preferred rings and is the only source for the official NC State class ring. NC State students are eligible to purchase their rings after they have completed 60 credit hours. We are pleased to feature Balfour rings to provide a large selection of styles and features. Every ring is custom made to your specifications. Balfour offers assistance in designing your ring, and service after the sale to guarantee your satisfaction. You can stop by the Bookstore to see the large selection of ring ideas and pick up brochures. Balfour has representatives in the store monthly to help you with your selection.

Diploma Frames

Congratulations on completing your degree. You can commemorate this important achievement by displaying your diploma in a handsome frame. NCSU Bookstores has a large selection of quality hand crafted frames.

Cap & Gown Rental

NCSU Bookstores is the University's official source for graduation apparel. Bachelor candidates may purchase apparel at the bookstore beginning two weeks before commencement exercises. Apparel is available in a wide variety of sizes to accommodate any body height and weight. Students who require XXL or XXXL sized gowns are encouraged to call the store to reserve their apparel a couple of weeks before graduation.

Doctoral and Masters candidates require hoods in addition to the cap, gown and tassels. Students are responsible for purchasing their own personal hoods. This may be done when purchasing academic apparel at the Bookstore.

All graduation apparel must be paid for at the time of pick-up. A Student ID is required for the purchase of academic apparel. No pre-order is necessary except for those students requiring non-standard sized apparel. For more information regarding academic apparel, please call (919) 515-3588.
