Volunteer Position Title: Volunteer

Description of duties: The Pet foster Network is a volunteer-based organization helping fourteen local animal welfare groups to recruit as many foster parents as possible in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake Counties. Foster care programs save the lives of hundred of animals that would not have a chance at adoption. Each year more than 17,000 animals are euthanized in the Triangle county shelters. The length of fostering can vary from a few days to several months. All medical care is paid for by the fostering organization.  Organizations can bring the animal(s) to your home even if they are not located in the same city.
