Web Citrix
Information

Web Citrix is a remote application delivery method used by campus customers. Citrix allows users to access needed applications regardless of their physical location. However, it is necessary to access Citrix using a web browser and to install the Web Citrix client on the remote pc.

Why use Citrix? Below are some of the reasons ETSS has chosen Web Citrix for remote application delivery:

* Low-cost Windows application delivery
* Strongest security for applications
* Outstanding application performance over any network
* Fastest application delivery to all users--anywhere
* Continuous availability and reliable, fast application performance
* One interface, one logon

Note: The Citrix 10 client for Windows has been updated to allow contextless login for customers. Using this new feature, customers will be able to log in to the Citrix environment and not be required to log in to Novell using their departmental context. If you continue to receive the Novell login prompt, you may wish to synchronize your Novell and eDirectory passwords.

If you need additional information regarding Citrix, please contact the NC State Help Desk at 515-4357 or by sending e-mail to help@ncsu.edu
