Cashier's Office

The University Cashier's Office (UCO) provides depository services to all University departments and billing, financial aid disbursement and account management services to all students.

Foundations Accounting & Investments

The Foundations Accounting & Investments Department is responsible for providing oversight of the investment programs, accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, coordination of annual audits and tax reporting, and preparing presentations to the boards of directors for The Endowment Fund, the NC State Investment Fund, Inc. and eight University-related foundations.

Materials Management

Materials Management provides central support and is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services, payment of vendors, receiving and distribution of products, management of copiers, printers and multi-functional devices, disposition of surplus property, and the development of business processes that continue to improve upon efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Real Estate Office

The Real Estate Office is responsible for management of all real property owned or allocated to the University, the Endowment Fund, and affiliated foundations, which currently encompasses approximately 106,000 acres across the State of North Carolina. All real property transactions are reviewed and approved by this office prior to execution before submitting for approval by University Administration and the governing bodies of the Board of Trustees, Board of Governors, and the Council of State.

Strategic Debt Management

The Strategic Debt Manager is responsible for planning, issuance and ongoing portfolio management of the University's capital debt, both internal and external. This office works with departments, auxiliaries and management to plan for and issue new capital debt issues along with ongoing compliance and portfolio review.

Fast Facts

Foundations Accounting and Investments (FAI) is a multi-service provider to eleven corporate entities including the NC State Investment Fund, Inc. (NCSIF); seven University-affiliated foundations, the NCSU Alumni Association; the University Endowment Fund; and the NC State Partnership Corporation. Additionally, two of these eleven entities have very unique subsidiary LLC’s – Centennial Development, LLC, (Lonnie Poole Golf Course), the Bell Tower Holdings, LLC, and the NC State Residence, LLC are wholly-owned by the Partnership Corporation, and the NC State Executive Education LLC is wholly-owned by the NC State Foundation. All entities received a clean or unqualified audit opinion. These fifteen entities provide services and resources to students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and other “friends” of the University.
