NC State: Achieve!

Parents' Guide to Admissions
 ApplyVisitFAQ

Welcome to our Parents' Guide to Admissions! You are the very best person to talk with your high school student about the importance that a higher education plays in a competitive job market. We want to provide you with information to help both of you find out whether North Carolina State University is the right match for your high school student.

Please remember that although we encourage that parents talk with students about their plans for college and assist them with their search, we expect that students will work independently as they complete the application for admission.

The links on the left will take you to pages that tell you not just about the admissions process and admission requirements but also about the many academic opportunities, services and resources offered by NC State, including financial aid and scholarships.

We hope you will find this website to be a valuable resource. If you have any questions not answered on these pages please feel free to contact us at undergrad_admissions@ncsu.edu.
