In fact, more than 25% of our graduates started their college programs at other institutions.  Yet transfer admission to NC State is no less competitive than freshman admission, reflecting strong interest and demand in the programs offered. 

As you begin to explore your college choices, you'll find this website to be an excellent starting point. It provides general information about degree programs, transfer requirements for our various programs, and instructions for applying.

The best way to get to know us is to visit. We offer campus tours each weekday that school is in session. For help in planning your transfer to NC State, a transfer information session is offered Fridays at 3 p.m. at the new Joyner Visitor Center at 1210 Varsity Drive. For weekend and holiday visits, we can send you a Visitor's Guide that will allow you to conduct your own tour and become familiar with our outstanding campus. In the meantime, we hope you'll complete an application. A rewarding experience awaits you here at NC State.
